We're all going on a Japanese submarine, Japanese submarine, Japanese submarine

Well so I was all excited to go on my school trip to a Japanese submarine. I'd given all my details trying to prove to the Japanese army that I wasn't a spy and that I am in fact an English teacher. However, sadly today they have turned this Irish gaijin down. I cannot be trusted. The are still considering my Korean student who has lived in Japan all his life... emmm. I am allowed to go to the port and view from a distance and I have been given the job as photographer and minder as no foreigners and cameras are allowed on board. Boohooo.... On the up side I will be given the opportunity to sample special army food that they live on whilst aboard the submarine.

Kyoto Fun & Games

SO off I popped to Kyoto last week with long lost Clionadh, Hels, and her wee bro Vinny. We didn't see much off Kyoto but we had a such a deadly night, ended in a love hotel after a night of drink and lack of a bed. The thing with a love hotel is that you never actually see the staff that work there, however they are always watching and when they saw 4 Gaijin(foreigners) 3 ladies and a man.. well the weren't very pleased... So we were over charged but hey it was all worth it... Love hotels are like nice posh hotels you get these massive rooms and huge baths. This one was rather boring but you can find one to suit everyone little fantasies from Hello Kitty to Christmas to French cottage to S&M at its best!

Rain rain go away come again another day

The rain is bucketing down and it has barely stopped for the past few months I am pissed off when I get pissed on :( You would think I'd be able to handle being Irish and all but no...I'm fed up... Today I sat at the train station waiting patiently for the rain to stop... it didn't - I am kitted out with rain clothes but still too feckin wet to ride my bike so I decided to walk... ahhh there is nothing like building up a nice sweat in your rain gear!
