It rains but it's still hot :(
So it's been a while but hey still alive and sweaty in Indoland. I was already to update with a lovely array of pictures but this computer doesn't know what a flash disc thingy megiggy is. Ahhh Indonesia :)
So rainy season has come, full force lastnight especially - don't think I have ever seen rain so heavy in all my life. Sadly it's still so friggin' hot during the day. I have to laugh at my students who tell me I am beautiful - honestly I must look like a wet rag dripping wet in front of their class. So since Ramadan ended I have been busier. I now teach 3 class a day - these classes are endless though 1 1/2 hours. Poor pets - don't know how the stick it. I have also been moved to the automotive department, where I am supposed to teach about cars in English - I haven't a bloody clue about cars so this is a laugh. "Miss, miss what's this?" "Emmm emm I don't know" They've got all these engine parts everywhere, - clueless. So I have been given a manual to learn the same stuff that I have to teach them. I also have to teach the teachers which is like teaching 2 year olds, they don't listen to me, they just constantly ask me questions. So yup at the end of the day, a cold splash with a bucket is delightful, followed my sleep. Lots of sleep :)
After my four days a week of teaching - I now have a proper home to go to. Myself and Pung have got oursleves a wee little house in Yogya (Yogya is 3 hours by bus from where I teach). It's very cute, and so cheap one years rent is only about 400Euro... cheap cheap - but afterall I do live off 25Euro a week! Pictures to come when I'm not on a computer from the dark ages.

Hey girl,
thanks for the commento on my blogo.
I gotta update, geez! Sorry. Glad to hear that all is well in indonesia. Things here are well, relatively. I'm bummed about being back in Canada and my life is a bit all over the place but in no place I want it to be. School starts in Sept and then 12 months of studying my ass off and then hopefully outta here to somewhere a bit more exciting.
Best o' luck
J
Yay - you're alive! I'm happy! Cars?! That's crazy. Love you loads xxx
